great debut release and new label from a rubadub shop regular featuring tracks from shop regulars. tip. this first release is made up of 3 tracks from my friends and 1 from myself. there�s no concept here other than putting out music that was otherwise not going to see the light of day. the first track is by bleaker who put out a 12inch on unknown to the unknown last year, the second by miz aka big miz whos been putting out music on dixon avenue basement jams, the third by the burrell connection who has a release on west end communications and a track on a craig knows released compilation and the last track is from myself which got a play on big mizs boiler room set. these tracks were all sent to me around the same time and it felt right to make a place for them on a record. bleaker, miz and the burrell connection have all been making waves in scotland and beyond and these 3 tracks are proof that the attention is warranted. and i dont think my track is too bad either.

clavis is the new collaborative project of manuel tur and adrian hoffmann (of paskal and urban absolutes). their debut banza ep on freerange last year won many fans and received countless plays from the likes of dixon, ame, tim sweeny and damian lazarus. this brilliant follow up has already received glowing praise from deetron, h.o.s.h, anja schneider and laurent garnier.

when we signed bosq s tumbala featuring puerto rican legend tempo alomar on vocals last year we knew that it was a multi-cultural masterpiece. we also knew that giving it a boost for the club could take it to a whole other stratosphere. so we enlisted another one of our favorite multi culti producers, auntie flo to take it for a spin, and boy did he turn out a club jam!

they say you have your whole life to make your first album, years upon years of growth, learning and experience filtered into one perfect record. your debut is supposed to be the one you labour over, while the follow-up is meant to be served up within spitting distance of the last. well, not if you�re london based wild palms. �we did that in reverse,� explains the band�s sardonic, quick-witted frontman lou hill. �the first album was just the songs that we would play live, we wrote it really quickly. but this one took ages...� five years in fact.

those familiar with the world of dub disco and modern balearica should know all about layne fox, a san francisco-based producer who has released some killer records over the last decade as part of noted collective 40 thieves. the bay area ensemble has been responsible for some killer records, including gems on rong music and leng, who released their expansive debut album the sky is yours back in 2014. now, fox has decided to go it alone for an outing on magic feet that marks his first solo outing since 2005 s move me under the tuffy alias. its something of a gem, too, effortlessly combining many of his familiar influences with nods towards druggy italo-disco and horizontal pop.

mindtrip presents mt13, which sees another young argentinan talent - farceb - making his mindtrip debut. farceb is a producer whos been pricking ears over the last couple of years with strong releases on labels such as arts, orioni and circular limited. he now joins pfirters imprint with his superb signals from space ep. exoplanet war sets things in motion and is a stylish, entrancing tune, which, if it wasnt for its intrinsic energy and power - would border on the somniferous. next up is signals from space, a tough, brutal and percussive workout, punctuated by dark, organic synth stabs. this track builds and rolls along in a way dancefloors will love. unknown shadow is a powerful, stripped down merciless lump of peak-time techno which cleverly blends atmosphere and hard hitting percussion. the final track - the superb hyperion, is a 6 minute, deadly exercise in pushing intensity and tension to (and sometimes beyond) commonsensical limits. this is mindtrip music!

originally released in a limited edition of 500 copies in 1982 monoton�s second album �monotonprodukt 07� is now a collector item and also one of the most important album of all-time. it has been voted one of the 100 best records by highly influential uk magazine the wire. monoton was founded in 1979 by hypermedia wizard konrad becker as an art project that underwent various transformations and collaborations in its exploration of psycho-active sound. a pioneer in experimental electronic music, becker continued to break new ground in electronic media. monotonprodukt 07 has been reissued on vinyl by desire (and is still available as a double picture-discs limited to 500 copies. it�s the first time ever that tracks from the album are remixed and desire is proud to had such great artists/producers as us prositutes, svengalighost with fellow partner and l.i.e.s. boss and hospital productions artist ron morelli. the last remix is the work of great mancunian duo rainer veil (modern love). an incredible remix package that do justice to this classic album ! mastered by matt colton at alchemy.
